I am fully licensed, qualified and have experience working with children of all agessince 18 years, and I am able to understand the needs of your children. Our DailyPrograms include: Arts & crafts, prewriting, pre-reading, fun with Phonics, circle time (calendar time, children learn about the days of the week, weather, months of the year, storytime, rhymes, finger plays, felt stories, songs (music & movements), dramatic play & free play. Big indoor and outdoor play area.
My passion is to provide care that focuses on days filled with learning & fun activities.
Our mission
At Moona’s Munchkins Daycare, we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy, which views children as strong, capable and curious individuals with a natural desire to explore, learn and connect with the world around them. Our home-based setting provides a warm, nurturing environment that feels like an extension of the child’s own family--a space where they feel safe, seen, and respected. We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences and meaninful relationships.
Our role is to support their learning by creating an environment rich in possibilities--full of open ended materials, collaborative projects and opportunities for self-expression. The daily rhythm is guided by the interests of the children, allowing them to an active role in their own learning. In line with the Reggio Emilia approach, we view the environment as the “third teacher”.
